Loot System

PwnHammer uses a zerosum DKP system for distributing loots. You earn DKP when an item is purchased. iDKP (incentive points) is also set up parallel to DKP to ensure seniority among members.

You earn DKP for the following actions:
- An item was purchased
- New Content

You earn iDKP for the following actions:
- On Time for raids (yes, at the Zone-In)
- Mid Raid Time
- End of Raid

DKP

When bidding in raid, the member status still has priority over recruits. So feel free to send in the bid.

You will still earn DKP/iDKP even though you did not make it into the raid and have to what we call 'sit'. To earn these points, you must adhere to these rules:
- Character is at the Zone-In, waiting for invite
- If you log out with the character at the zone-in, or are playing an alt, you MUST be available to be reached by in-game Tells, IMs, IRC, Ventrilo, Phone.

We will not force anyone to take loot. If your goal is to horde DKP for that special item, that is your choice but frowned upon greatly. Use common sense and if an item is an upgrade for your class/role in the raid, you should want to spend DKP to acquire it.

Having the most DKP is not an achievement, this only means one of two things:
- You're a hoarder
- Unlucky as to what drops and/or you were not there when the items did drop

Having the most negative DKP is not an achievement either, this means one of two things:
- You want the most epics you can wear, carry in your inv and put in the bank.
- Started out with fair items and taking everything that is an upgrade for you or passed to you.

iDKP

iDKP points are used solely as a marker for players contribution to the guild. If you attend more raids and keep up high attendance, it is more likely for you to stay with the guild.

iDKP points are used to decide how BoP recipes are distributed. If the iDKP is within 1 point a roll off will be taken to ensure fairness.

iDKP is also the only entry that is zerosum'd. As the raid calender grows the numbers begin to stockpile. What ever is put in will be taken out to ensure easy readibility and managability.

**Having negative iDKP does not always mean that you skip raids. This could be that you are a new recruit being compared to a member that has raided for 3months. However if two new recruits have a 1-2point iDKP difference, the lower iDKP recruit has been missing/skipping raids under some personal circumstances.
